The Face Behind active8
Spencer Moss’s sporting journey began on the football pitch, where he played for many local teams, progressing from youth through to senior level. Spencer transitioned into distance running with Spartans Athletic Club, where he competed in 10Ks, half marathons, and full marathons. His dedication to endurance sport saw him thrive in the running scene until injuries and surgeries began to take their toll.
Spencer then shifted his focus to cycling. Representing various local clubs, most notably Big Maggy’s, he has become a familiar name in the island’s cycling community, where he has competed in time trials, road races, and track events.
Being active takes its toll on the body. In June 2024, Spencer underwent successful knee replacement surgery, a pivotal moment in his athletic journey. It was during this recovery that he was introduced to the Game Ready® Ice Compression recovery unit, a tool that played a key role in accelerating his healing and getting him back on the bike.
